trinket road

catch your eye and keep you fixated. drunken steps and a whole lot of shouting. sweet smiles and sinister eyes. trinkets i'll keep, you'll hate, i'll love, you'll want, i'll give you. suit lapels with lip stick stains. collars muffled and a kool-aid essence you can't quite shake. charming abilities and super power affairs, pop star sensations at a rockstar level. shiny values and motives to live by, cherishing presence, i'll beg you stay. you'll leave. i'll sadden, you'll return too me. trinkets we can burry in the sand, build a sand castle on top and lay there hand in hand. allow the water to rise those treasures and our eyes will again wander over such tangibles and kiss eachother's sight with the savvy of nothing and everything because we'll know something else, worth a million but we do not dare utter such joke for it would jinx the trinkets in the box with the sparkly goods, we'll keep safe there, our memories, and burry them in the sand, to rediscover in amazement later down the road.
